Chase
completed a $2.5M tank and contaminated soil removal
at an underground storage tank facility in Louisville,
Kentucky. This project required installing augercast
pilings and piers to prevent differential settlement
of nearby buildings, houses, and ongoing manufacturing
process. Chase also excavated to a depth of 45 feet
below grade and 15 feet below groundwater. Chase removed
nearly 50,000 tons of contaminated soil, treated approximately
2 million gallons of groundwater, removed approximately
30,000 gallons of oil, and performed site restoration
to grade.
